Your Choice; Summer Time

My favorite time of the year is summer. Why? Only because I absolutely love to wear shorts, tank tops, swimsuits, my hair braided, get my natural skin complexion back, and always have a pair of flip flops or some kind of sandals on my feet. The two most important things that top this season off are barbecues and going swimming.

During this time, when I see people wearing jeans, sweat pants, long sleeve shirts, and shoes...that's my ut most pet peeve. I don't understand because why would you want to wear that kind of clothing in hot/muggy weather?

Freedom

The word freedom to me means that someone has the right to say how they truly feel, or do things they have never done before.

When I say they have the right to say how they truly feel, I mean their opinion about something. For example...someone was talking about them or someone that they knew very well. They're
not just going to keep their mouth shut.

Or like I said that they're going to want to do some things they never have done before. It could either mean two different things...either they can go and explore places they've never seen or been before. Or they can always be greedy to others, take freedom for granted, go and break laws so they will have their freedom taken away.
My personal opinion is freedom is a right but until you break laws, then thats when you put it on the line.

People In Hard Times

In my personal opinion the most important thing that you can do for someone that is going through a hard time is just asking the simple question "Is there anything I can do?" Hearing those words coming from another persons mouth, that hopefully cares about them, would just make their whole world a better place. No matter what it is they are having a hard time with...they know someone wants to help them succeed, wants them to come out of being stuck in a bad mood and be happier with themselves.

Your Choice.!;*

This weekend I think I am just going to stay home and help around the house. Help around the house by meaning mostly just cook meals for my brother and sister. Make sure that they are taken care of. When I know that they're alright, I have a habit and making sure my mom is okay and if she has everything she needs. The story following that is the other night when she was doing laundry she thought she had gotten something in her eye from the lint trap. So all she did put some water in her hand and fluttered her eye hoping it came out.

Later on that night before she went to bed, instead of tears, it was blood dripping. Make a very long story short very quickly! The following Monday she went to the doctors and she has three styes on top and to on the bottom in the inside of her eye. So right now when she puts in the eye drops when she's in pain, shes practically blind out of her right eye. That's why I'll be staying home this weekend to help around the house.

Parental Jobs

From my point of view, a parent's job is pretty easy when their kids are little. Only because they don't have that many things to worry about. Not as much as they get older at least. On the other hand... if you have teenagers? It may or may not be not be the same as it comes out to other people. I always tell my mom thatmy sister, my brother, and I may be bad sometimes but we aren't always because it's the way you raised us to be.

R E S P E C T

Automatically when somebody asks me what does the word respect mean to you? A million things come to my head. But out of all of those millions of things. . Only one big one sticks out. That is treat others as you would want to be treated. As my little sister, my little brother and I were growing up that's how my mom taught us to treat other people. Even people that we barely even knew. So they can treat us the same way or even better in the end.

In My Skin

The book I'm reading is about a girl name Maleeka who is in high school. Through out the beginning she describes how hard her growing up years have been. But all the sudden, during the middle of the school year, this girl name Charlene goes up to her one day and says, " I want you to hang out with us for one reason and one reason only!" Maleeka replied with "What?" Her answer was "to do my homework."

A couple weeks went by with a couple arguments and a fight here and there. It was always something that had to do with Maleeka. She always thought because she was there for Charlene, that Charlene would be there for her. She had the wrong idea. It was just her against everybody. following that she got in trouble with the principal, her mama and ended up doing community service.
(That's as far as I have gotten so far)
