Opinion On Poetry & Lyrics

My opinion on poetry or lyrics is very positive but reasonable at the same time. I think that personally, when I come across something that has been written down by somebody else, I want to read it without a doubt. Not only to see what it says, but what they have done in their lives. I think that the main reason people write down maybe lyrics to a song, or some poetry here and there, is to get some ideas or issues off of their head. Maybe they've had good times or even bad times in their life and they want to write the situation down so either they will never forget it, or it will help them clear their mind.
